When talking about holiday on a specific day/date:

You can say 1 November it’s a holiday.

Some people also say it’s a public holiday.

You can also say on Christmas holidays.

You can use bank holiday (UK) to refer to (national) holiday, too.

E.g.
In December we enjoy the Christmas holidays, but in Spain we also have public/bank holidays on 6 and 8.

BUT:

You say to have/take a day off when you have permission not to go to work on a working day.

On Friday, I’m going to take a day off.

Last Monday I had a day off.

Next December, there are bank/public holidays on 6 and 8. Additionally, I’m going to take a day off on 7.

To care is to share (o dicho de otra forma, si te ha gustado comparte!)

    E.g.
I spilled a coffee but nobody noticed it.
We noticed that her hands were shaking.
I noticed he had his hair cut.
Have you noticed any change in her? – ¿Has notado algún cambio en ella? (algo que hayas visto,oído)

    Realize:

    E.g.
He didn’t realize his mistake until next day.
She realized who the man in the photograph was.
We hadn’t realized the implications of our decision.
I realize this is going to be difficult, but we have to try.

Observa

    E.g.
I noticed the children have been quiet all evening but I didn’t realize they were ill.

I hope she _____ her mistake soon.
I’ve _____ you have changed some furniture.
They didn’t _____ the danger they were in.
    I _____ a crack in the wall.
He _____ that the woman was looking at him.
They don’t seem to _____ the value of money.
He doesn’t _____ how important this is for me.
